If your house or business location is already pre-wired then a hybrid system, which is a combination of a hardwired panel with a wireless receiver is best. This will take advantage of the pre-wiring as well as giving you the option to any wireless devices later on that there is no wiring for.

If your house or business location is not pre-wired, and you would not  rather not go through the hassle of running wires everywhere, then wireless is definitely the way to go. You will spend a bit more opting with the wireless system, but will save more than what you paid with little to no installation costs.

One important thing to keep in mind concerning wireless systems is that they are vulnerable to attack. If you decide to go with a wireless system, we recommend purchasing additional wireless keypads and placing them by your main entrances instead of the base unit itself. Place the base unit in a recessed location of your house so it is not easily accessible to intruders.
